Composting: Teaching UTT students about the 3 R’s
UTT students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 were delighted to meet Mark Charlebois and Félix Lebrun Paré from Eco–Quartier. These
environmental experts were there to teach the students about composting
and the importance of embracing the concepts of Reduce, Reuse and
Recycle. Students appreciated the opportunity to learn
what kinds of natural material can go into a composter, how it works,
and how recycling waste makes strong healthy planet.
